Sajag Society is a Delhi based Govt. approved non-profit voluntary organisation that works for the development of underprivileged sections of the society i.e. – children and women from weaker sections as well as unorganized sector labour force specifically waste pickers. Formed as a community based organisation (C.B.O.) in the first half of 2007, the society was later registered with the Registrar of Societies, New Delhi, with the aim to expand its work base and further strengthen its activities.
At present, this society is working marginalized communities living in different parts of the South, South-West and West districts of Delhi i.e – Kapasehra(on Nazafgarh road), Bhanwar Singh Camp (near Vasant Vihar), Israil camp (near block C, Vasant Kunj), Bandhu Camp (near B-5/6, Vasant Kunj), Rangpuri pahari (near Mahipalpur), Tughlakabad Extension (near Kalkaji), Pochan pur (near Sector-23, Dwarka), Palam, Vindapur (near Uttam Nagar), Chanakya Place (near Janakpuri), Matiyala (near Uttam nagar), Kakrola Mod, Vikas Nagar, Chandra Vihar, Nilaithi Ext. and Nihal Vihar among others.
